Nigeria has a large number of fire service stations spread across the country. Twelve zonal commands are responsible for these offices. The fire service offices are in charge of fire rescue operations, fire prevention, and firefighting. They also carry out other duties as prescribed by the Fire Service Act, which was passed by parliament.

FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE HEADQUARTERS, FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY ABUJA

The Federal Fire Service of Nigeria’s headquarters are located on Mohammadu Buhari Way, Area 10, Garki.

FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE ZONAL COMMAND, BENUE STATE

FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE COMMAND, NASARAWA STATE

The Federal Fire Service’s Zone A includes the Nasarawa State Command. This office is based in Lafia, Nasarawa State, at the Main Roundabout.

FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE COMMAND, PLATEAU STATE

The Plateau Command, which is part of the Federal Fire Service’s Zone A Command, is responsible for ensuring that the Fire Service Act’s defined duties are carried out in Plateau State.

This is the sub – district headquarters of Zone L Command, which is based in Osogbo and is responsible for carrying out the mandates of the Fire Service Act in Osun State.

Zone L Federal Service Command includes the Ondo State Command. In Ondo State, this office is in charge of coordinating fire prevention, firefighting, information sharing, and rescue actions.
