There are Federal, State and Private Polytechnics in Nigeria but the purpose of this post is to enlighten you about the various State Polytechnics scattered around Nigeria, all of course are accredited.
This post will help prospective students of the various state polytechnics choose the school that best suits them.
With the ever increasing demand for quality education and the increase in student population every year, it is imperative to help prospective students outline these various state polytechnics in Nigeria so as to make it easy for them to choose from.
From our findings, we were able to gather that there are 38 accredited State Polytechnics in the country and we will outline them in alphabetical order for easy access.

Adamawa State Polytechnic is currently located in Numan, Adamawa State. The Polytechnic was founded in 1991 during the merger between the College of Preliminary Studies in Yola and the Staff Development Institute, Numan,
As with other colleges, the polytechnic is accredited by the National Board for Technical Education and offers National Diploma programs in Computer Science, Statistics, Accountancy, Business Studies and Secretarial Studies.

6. Akwa-Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot-Osurua

Benue state poly is one of the polytechnics accredited by the National Board for Technical Education. The school is located in Ugbokolo, Okpokwu and was founded in 1977.
The Department of Agriculture at the Benue State Polytechnic and the Akperan Orshi College of Agriculture were merged to become one in 1983.
8. Delta State Polytechnic
Delta State Polytechnics are three and these three institutions were founded in 2002. The locations of these academic institutions include: Oghara, Ogwashi-Uku and Ozoro.
These institutions offer studies in Agriculture, Computing and Information Technology, Fashion Design and Arts as well as Sports education. Students of these Polytechnics are also trained in business and entrepreneurship.
