An Overview of the Nigerian Law School
The Nigerian Law School is an educational institution set up by the Government of Nigeria in 1962 to provide a Nigerian legal education to foreign-trained lawyers, and to provide practical training for aspiring Legal Practitioners in Nigeria. Until the school was established, legal practitioners in Nigeria had received the requisite training in England and had been called to the English Bar.
To be eligible to be admitted into the one-year compulsory law school training, you must have successfully completed a law undergraduate degree (in this case an LLB.). Over 70,000 students have graduated from the Nigerian Law School.
The Law School offers course in criminal and civil litigation, property and corporate law, as well as a course in ethics. Anyone who has obtained a University degree in law and wants to practice as lawyers in Nigeria must attend the Nigerian Law School. The Council of Legal Education gives certificates to students who pass the Bar Part II examinations, and these students are then called to the Bar.

Full Breakdown of the Nigerian Law School Fee
As you already know, the Nigerian Law School is expensive. For years now, there have been suggestions and pleads from various quarters of people and associations begging the Federal Government to subsidize the fee law students in the Nigerian Law School pay so it can accommodate law school.
Aside the expensive nature of the school fees, their wears and books are super expensive, making it difficult for children of poor Nigerians to attend the school.
One of such plea was in 2009 when Asbayir Abubakar, a legal practitioner called for reductions in the fees paid at the Nigerian Law School in order to accommodate the less-privileged into the legal profession.
Despite the plead and complaints, the fees still remain high. One thing about the fee is it variability by session. The law school fee varies yearly.

There are accredited banks designated for the payment of the Nigerian Law School fees. Although, the E-collection scheme payment method can also be used to pay online, you can also walk into any of the accredited banks and pay your school fees.
