Pictures of Nigerian Currencies (All Naira Notes)
This post contains the pictures of the eight Naira notes in circulation today. The pictures of Nigerian currency from the five Naira note to the One thousand Naira note picture, both the front view and back view.
The official currency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is the Naira. The history of then Nigerian Naira notes dates back to the colonial times when Pounds and shillings were used as a form of legal tender to the independence of Nigeria in 1960. The Central Bank of Nigeria is in charge of printing Nigerian currencies till date.
Today, Nigeria currency have continuously transformed both in form, colour, beauty and size. The five naira, ten naira, twenty naira note and fifty naira note (picture below) are the only monies that are made from polymer. While the one hundred naira note, two hundred naira note, five hundred naira note and one thousand naira note are made from a different material.
