Buhari’s Ministers: List of Nigeria’s New Ministers & Their Portfolios (2024)
Here is a list of current ministers in Nigeria appointed by President Buhari to be approved by the senate. Their various positions will be updated after their confirmation.
A minister is an appointed person who spearheads the activities of a ministry he or she was assigned to. The process of selecting a minister in Nigeria is stipulated in the constitution but he or she must pass through screening from the National Assembly.
Please note that a minister is directly responsible to the president that appointed him and not the people. It’s only in the parliamentary system that the reverse is the case.
Update: “We are aware that Buhari won a second time under the platform of the APC and must choose new ministers, we would update this list as soon as the senate verifies their names this 2024. You might want to bookmark this page for easy reference.” Chizoba Ikenwa – Admin, Nigerian Infopedia
