Airtel Free Mode for Facebook Flex: How to Browse Facebook App for Free on Airtel Network

We recently published Airtel’s new data bundle of 6GB for N500 and 2GB for N200. Most people complained that it was slow because it works with only 2G network. One of our writers, Jide who currently used it confirmed that the New Airtel plan i.e Free Facebook flex works better in an area that has a strong Airtel Network.

This time, I will expose with proof, Airtel’s free mode for Facebook which most people don’t know about as Airtel Nigeria keeps surprising Nigerians with their packages.

I believe with this Airtel free Facebook plan, Airtel will be helping Nigerians connect to their loved ones on Facebook social app even if their data expires and have no airtime on their phone.

Airtel has made it possible to browse free with the Facebook app (not through Opera mini or UC browser) when you have 0.00mb.

How to Browse Free on Facebook using the Airtel Free Mode for Facebook

Simply launch your Facebook Application as you normally do, even with your data expired, leave your data on and you will see at the top of your Facebook app “you are in data mode”, at the top right corner, you’ll still see “go to free”, click it and continue your Facebook experience. Below is the screenshot.

Be informed that once you are in free mode, you will not have access to pictures.

But it’s better than having nothing. You can try it even when you have data and want to conserve it by switching to free mode.
