He is a native of Ogun state but has spent much of his lifetime in Lagos state.
He went to Lagos State University where he studied Industrial Relations and Personnel Management. He graduated from the University in 2010.
Before breaking into limelight, Tunde Owokoniran faces so many challenges.
Based on our research, Tunde lost his mother at his tender age and as a result of his mother’s demise, his father couldn’t sponsor his education, he had to put a stop to his educational career after graduating from secondary school.
Having dropped out of school, Tunde was in need of a petty job which will be enough to sustain him. Luckily for Tunde, he joined the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ojuelegba. Joining the organization enhanced his chance of being a conductor for a bus driver.
As a conductor, Tunde could only managed to get clothes and food for himself but he wasn’t financially buoyant enough to paid for house rents. As a result of lack of financial resources, he slept under Lagos state bridge.
Despite not comfortable, Tunde continued with his conductor job until a fateful day when there was an outburst between him and his boss.
The outburst doesn’t only cost Tunde his job, it also cost him the whole of his driving career as he quit his career in general.
Leaving the park, Tunde became a market trader. He became a plantain retailer, who buys in large quantities and resale in small scale quantities to other retailers.
This business helps to boost Tunde’s financial status as he always bought plantain from Ojuwoye market in Mushin which he would resell at another market.

Everything wasn’t working well for Tunde until when he met with popular Yoruba actor Odunlade Adekola, while he was anchoring a meeting at the market where Tunde always sell his goods.
Seeing Odunlade Adekola means a lot to Tunde Owokoniran, he grabbed the opportunity by meeting the star actor, telling him his dream of becoming a Nollywood actor.
After lengthy discussions, Odunlade gave him his home address and that’s how things began to change for Tunde Owokoniran.
Odunlade Adekola gave him a role to play in one of his movie which he acted wonderfully and since then, Tunde has been improving in his acting career.
He is currently one of the most sought-after actors in the Yoruba movie industry.

On the 19th of March 2016, Tunde Owokoniran proposed to his American based girlfriend Tunmise, at the airport after he break-up with his former girlfriend, whom he said was unable to share his dream with him.
According to Tunde, Tunmise is a caring, loving and a beautiful woman who understands the nature of his career.
They got married to his wife on the 24th of March 2016, the marriage is blessed with a beautiful girl.
