Evelyn Joshua is the woman behind late pastor TB Joshua’s successful ministry. Late Pastor TB Joshua was the founder of The Synagogue Church of all Nation (SCOAN) in Nigeria and abroad.

Biography & Education

Evelyn Joshua was born on the 17th of March 1968 to the family of Mr and Mrs Nicholas Akabude. She’s a native of Okala Okpuno in Oshimili North Local Government area of Delta State.

Evelyn had her basic education (primary school)  in Emecheta Primary school in Ezi Town, Delta State. She was unable to complete her basic education in Delta state before she moved to Lagos in 1997. Getting to Lagos, she finished her basic education at Orile Primary School located in Oshodi. She also had her secondary education at Lagos

After graduating, Evelyn secured a paid job as a worker at the Nigerian Distilleries in Ota, Ogun State.

How She Met Her Husband

Late Prophet Temitope Joshua, also known as TB Joshua met Evelyn at Ikotun-Egbe where her sister lives. Evelyn was on a vacation, so she decided to pay a courtesy visit to her sister. Reaching her sister’s place, Prophet TB Joshua became the topic of people’s discussion, they were praising him for the great work he was doing across Nigeria through his ministry.

Having heard much about the Prophet from the people seated at her sister’s place, Evelyn became more anxious and curious to meet the great man of God.

Luckily for the Delta-born lady, She finally met the prophet eye-to-eye before she left her sister. She was shocked to see TB Joshua as young as he is despite his high reputation among men of God in the country.

According to Evelyn, Pastor TB Joshua revealed some spiritual and physical information about her life. She also said that the he confirmed some truth about her which include her being a twin from birth among other things.

After having a lengthy conversation with the prophet (approximately 45minutes), TB Joshua surprisingly proposed to miss Evelyn.

At first, Evelyn was so shocked that she didn’t know what to say. According to her it was very strange for a man to propose to a woman he met for barely 50 minutes, not to talk of an highly-respected man of God. After some moments of thought, Evelyn finally replied “yes” to his proposal.

Despite being 22-year-old, Evelyn agreed to marry the man of God because she believed there were lot of benefits she would derive from him, both spiritually and physically. She also said that her decision to agree to his marriage proposal was due to God’s divine direction. They both agreed to tie the knot in a wonderful and colorful event which saw many personalities in attendance.

Living as a Married Woman

After their successful marriage, Evelyn admitted that life as a married woman requires a lot from the woman. According to her, she faced some problems in the early years of her marriage as a result of their inter-tribal union.

She admitted that she had to face some challenges in understanding some of her husband’s culture at first but as time goes on, she adapted to his culture and even her husband also know much about her culture. In case you don’t know, Prophet TB Joshua is an indigene of Ondo State.

Evelyn Joshua’s Children with TB Joshua

Their marriage is blessed with three children all girls. Unlike many women, Evelyn says that she is not troubled with the fact that all her children are females. According to her, she has no reason to be moody as long as her husband doesn’t complain about the situation.

Sarah, the first daughter of the family, graduated from London School of Economics having studied Law.

Promise is the second daughter. just as Sarah, promise is a student of London school of Economics studying international relations and politics. The identity of the family’s last born is yet to be revealed to the public.

She has been very supportive to her husband ministry. Based on our findings, she is very hard working when it comes to spiritual activities in the church across all branches.

Despite being active in the Synagogue Church of All Nation (SCOAN), Evelyn also attended numerous management courses in Ghana before she gave birth to her children.

Net worth

The net worth of Evelyn Joshua isn’t known yet but we know that she is well to do since her husband runs a successful ministry and is seen as one of the richest pastors in the country.

Prophet TB Joshua is dead. He died at the age of 57.
