Once you allow these apps to have access to use your cameras, location services and file managers, your phone camera can be triggered on to record or take pictures even when you don’t know, your location will certainly be known and your files will be made public to whatever security or high organization that wants to track you. That is how most robbers are caught without knowing.

Without being made aware of such surveillance in advance, you could find yourself being recorded, your movements and actions tracked, judged, no doubt misinterpreted. This intrusion might be performed using professionally manufactured security cameras, or custom built ones, perhaps using a webcam with an old PC, or a Raspberry Pi. It might even be an old smartphone or tablet, re-purposed for hidden observation. What can you do about this?

1. When you have entered into your room, turn off the lights, and close the curtains, open your phone camera, do not turn the flash light of the camera on.

2. Turn around the room with your cell phone camera on.

3. When a red dot is found on your screen, that means that a hidden web camera is installed. If no red dots, then the room is okay.

Its that simple but if you doubt me, in a dark room, if you have a remote control, still with your camera app on your smartphone, face the remote at the lens of the camera (2cm in distance) and press any button on the remote, you would see that a light on the screen on the phone which ordinarily your eyes can’t see.
